A native North Carolinian, she was educated at North Carolina State University, Raleigh with a bachelor's degree in Horticultural Science and concentration in economics. She is active in numerous horticultural and local organizations and has held many board and leadership positions.
Debbie is widely traveled, internationally, nationally and throughout North Carolina.
